Our Products

We are an organisation created by farmers for farmers, to work together to create our regenerative future. As we share our knowledge with each other, we also acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land throughout the world and recognise their continuing connection to land, water, and community. We pay our respects to them, their cultures, and their Elders, past, present and emerging.

Tissue Culture

Tissue culture is a process that involves exposing plant tissue to a specific regimen of nutrients, hormones, and light under sterile, in vitro conditions to produce many new plants, each a clone of the original mother plant, over a very short period of time. AgriForest's tissue culture plants are characterised by disease free growth, a more fibrous, healthier root system, a bushier branching habit, and a higher survival rate. There are three main steps to the tissue culture process. Following these three stages, the plants are then moved from the laboratory to the greenhouses for acclimatisation and further development.

Seed Culture

Seeds may be cultured in vitro to generate seedlings or plants. It is the best method for raising the sterile seedling. The seed culture is done to get the different kinds of explants from aseptically grown plants which help in the better maintenance of aseptic tissue. Domesticating plants – that’s us! At High Mowing, we are continuing a tradition initiated by our ancestors in the Fertile Crescent. Without seed selection and, eventually, breeding, all of us would still be wandering the wilds of the world, chasing down our next meal or gathering fruits and vegetables catch-as-catch-can.

Embryo Culture

Embryo culture is the sterile isolation and growth of an immature or mature embryo in vitro with the goal of obtaining a viable plant. In some plants, seed dormancy may be due to chemical inhibitors or mechanical resistance, structures covering the embryo. Excision of embryos and culturing them in nutrient media help in developing viable seedlings.Embryo developed from wide hybridization between two different species may not mature fully due to embryo-endosperm incompatibility. So, the isolation and culture of hybrid embryos prior to abortion help in overcoming the post-zygotic barrier and production of interspecific or intergeneric hybrids.

Bio Diesel

Biodiesel is an alternate fuel to crude diesel formulated exclusively for diesel engines. Unlike Conventional fossil diesel, Biodiesel is a renewable fuel that burns clean, resulting in a significant reduction of the pollutants that contribute to global warming. WHAT IS BIO-DIESEL Biodiesel is a liquid fuel, technically known as a mono alkyll ester, made from oils and alcohols. Biodiesel is a renewable fuel that can be produced in any climate using already developed agricultural practices. Biodiesel is made from renewable resources such vegetable oils, or other types of biomass. B100 is 100% biodiesel. Biodiesel is widely available in both its neat form (B100) and in blends with petroleum diesel (for example: B2, B5, B20).

Biomass Pellet

Biomass wood pellets are a highly efficient fuel as they are much denser than natural wood and have a low moisture content of less than 10%, which means that very little of the energy produced is needed to evaporate water. This allows biomass wood pellets to be burnt at high temperatures with high combustion efficiencies. To maximise the energy potential of wood pellets high efficiency boilers have been developed in recent years. These can be automatically controlled and will provide an impressive heat through their thermostat controls.

Cucumin

NaturalNews) Curcumin is the active anti-inflammatory ingredient of turmeric. It has been used traditionally for centuries by Ayurveda and Chinese medicine. Currently, it may be western medicine's most researched ancient medicinal herb.

Morninga

The Moringa Tree is an amazing health resource that here in America most of us have never even heard of It contains 7 times the Vitamin C of oranges, 4 times the Vitamin A of carrots, 4 times the calcium of milk, 3 times the potassium of bananas and two times the protein of yogurt. The leaves, bark, flowers, fruit, seeds, and root can all be used medicinally.Oil from moringa seeds can be used in foods, perfume, and hair care products, and as a machine lubricant. The seed cake remaining after oil extraction can even be used as a fertilizer and also to purify well water and to remove salt from seawater.

Organic Milk

The researchers collected 109 milk samples from 25 UK farms of three production types: low-input organic, low-input non-organic and high-input non-organic. A standard questionnaire was used to collect management and production information from the farms. The questionnaire covered dairy herd size, average cow weight and breeding details, total dry food intake per day and composition of diet during the outdoor period and indoor periods, i.e. the proportion of fresh grass or conserved forage such as grass silage or hay, cereals, by-products and vitamin and mineral supplements.
