She bring to the board experience in the design projects space working collaboratively with a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and best practice. Alida Founded AMME (Alida Milani Marketing & Events) to connect communities and build relationships through meaningful content and extraordinary experiences. Projects crossed a variety of industry sectors from fashion and lifestyle, to food and community for government, corporate and retail partners.

Daniel is an industry leader in water, energy and resources who is passionate about delivering positive social, environmental and economic outcomes for communities. Daniel’s leadership in engineering has been recognised across multiple organisations and industry. Daniel was also a Captain in the Australian Army, with work in indigenous communities around Australia and received a commendation for his role as the Officer-in-Charge of the Australian Army’s role responding to the Victorian Bushfires.

Daniel adds value by drawing on his technical, strategic and governance experience gained from working on environmental projects in over 25 countries. Daniel looks forward to supporting the Carbon8 team on the exciting journey of transitioning Aussie farmers to regenerative agriculture.

Ed has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) double-degree from the Australian National University and Bachelor of Asia Pacific Studies. He is also a proud father of one (soon to be two), speaks and writes Chinese, and is passionate about helping Aussie farmers make the switch to regenerative agriculture.

Ed has been key in securing our DGR Auspice contract with Landcare NSW and supporting our governance processes to keep our charity focused on impact and long term collaborations.

Helen is one of 8 Internationally Accredited Holistic Management Educators in Australia- training people to make decisions for an innovative, adaptive and agile business, while improving people, profit and the environment.

Helen is passionate about managing holistically- providing a decision making framework with intent, transparency and integrity. Helen has experience in a broad range of areas including community development, policy advice and agribusiness.

Helen loves to share her knowledge, collaborate and nurture ideas.

Emma is an experienced lawyer who combines law and strategy to work collaboratively on innovative projects that seek to decarbonise our energy system and economy. This includes projects involving batteries, solar and electric vehicles.

She has worked in large law firms including Herbert Smith Freehills and Baker & McKenzie and in-house in a range of companies including AGL, Veolia and Tyco. Emma is connected to the land through the property her parents-in-law farm and is passionate about ensuring that the land her children will come to be custodians of is as productive and resilient as possible. 

As the co-founder of VRM Biologik, Kellie provides ecological, social and financial benefit to farmers and regulators across five continents. She continues to deliver sustainability as a core operational premise. She designs and implements solutions to international environmental problems across countries, cultures, and climates. “I feel that true disruptive innovation is rare, particularly in the environmental sector,”

She like to focus on implementing simple solutions to difficult environmental problems, such as soil degradation, preventing disease and growing healthy food at scale. “Every day I wake up knowing the work I do positively impacts the planet, environment and people.”

Pennie is a creative entrepreneur, communications specialist, writer, scholar, strategist, community facilitator, educator, public relations practitioner and social scientist. Coming from generations of farming families I have spent the majority of my life living and working in rural and regional communities, appreciating and understanding the dynamics of these special places.

My objectives are to grow people - through positive psychology, ideas - entrepreneurial activities and food - permaculture. These are the pillars on which all strong, vibrant, creative, flexible, compassionate and visionary communities grow, and flourish.

Carli is a keen environmentalist. She is an MBA honours graduate from Crummer Graduate School of Business, Florida. As a consultant at PwC, she helped New Zealand businesses solve significant environmental issues, providing innovative solutions. Carli has spent the past two years helping to scale up New Zealand’s regenerative agriculture and organics footprint. Her role included working with farmers, business advisors and investors to ensure producers that committed to regenerative and organic practices benefit from a global drive to support farmers making a positive impact on the environment and food systems. She recently completed a Permaculture Design Certificate, and a Graduate Certificate in Science to further understand how to engage smart farming practice yielding healthy food, while ensuring soils and waterways are regenerated. Carli has written numerous articles for Pure Advantage.

Graham is the founding Manager/ Director of the Environmental Analysis Laboratory (EAL) at Southern Cross University. His primary interest is in Biological and Organic Farming and regenerative agricultural practices.

Charlie Arnott is an award-winning Grazier from Boorowa, an educator and passionate advocate for Regenerative Farming practices. He is the recipient of the Bob Hawke Landcare Award for outstanding service to agriculture. Passionate about growing clean, healthy meat, Charlie’s approach and practice of biodynamic and holistic principles demonstrate every aspect of the Landcare ethic.
